Pastoral Position Brookhill Baptist Church is seeking a Pastor to lead our local church. The church is in search of a God-loving, God-fearing Preacher. The Pastor is responsible for the leadership of the congregation, overseeing the pathway for salvation needs of its members and visitors. Duties/Responsibilities : Devote himself in the ministry of the Word and Prayer (Acts 6:4) Equip the members doctrinally by teaching the Word (1 Timothy 4:11,13; 1 Timothy 5:17; 2 Timothy 4:2) Lead worship, Preach Biblical doctrinally sound sermons. Administer communion, and baptism. Pastoral Visitation, Care and Leadership : Shepherd by focusing on the spiritual needs of the congregation (1 Peter 5:1-3) Shepherd the flock by pastoral visitation, and lead others to do the same. Shepherd and oversee willingly by being an example (1 Peter 5:2-3; Hebrews 13:17) Provide confidential counseling as needed. Guide the church by giving instruction (1 Thessalonians 5:12) Encourage the church. As Pastor, he will provide oversight of the deacons, giving guidance as needed
