Junior Accountant I

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant I to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with accounting tasks, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Maintain and update accounting records and files. Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly. Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Prepare and submit tax filings and other financial documents as required. Support the senior accounting team with audits, forecasts, and other financial activities. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. Basic understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
