The Children's Home of Kingston serves at risk youth and immigrant students through residential, school, recreation and clinical services. We are currently looking to hire a Chief Executive Officer. This position will be responsible for the general management and administration of the institution in accordance with all government regulations and policies of funding sources and the governing board. Salary commensurate with experience, and negotiable based on experience. Duties/Responsibilities: Establish goals for the Children's Home of Kingston, as approved by the Board of Directors, and monitor progress of those goals. Develop staff and facilities to provide youth and families with appropriate "best practice" therapeutic services and academic opportunities to protect personal safety and welfare. Promote components of the federal Family First Act of 2018 as prescribed by the New York State Office of Children and Families. Support and espouse the model for trauma care as selected by agency administrative staff pertinent to a Qualified Residential Treatment Program. Oversee agency compliance with all government regulations and laws that are applicable to services provided by the Children's Home of Kingston. Develop professional relationships with government agency personnel who are in position to affect youth selection, funding and policies for the agency. Monitor all agency operations to ensure ongoing risk management assessment. Maintain awareness of current trends by networking with other agencies and membership in professional organizations. Demonstrate awareness of the operation of the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement program and interface with oversight staff. Identify opportunities to collaborate with other organizations to modify existing programs or develop new programming based on community needs. Explore opportunities to apply for appropriate grants, RFPs and other proposals. Chair the agency's Performance and Quality Improvement committee. Schedule quarterly meetings. Adjust metrics for program implementation. Establish an annual budget in coordination with appropriate agency staff and the Finance Committee. Monitor ongoing revenue, expenses and capital requirements. Manage residential and school populations to optimize funding. Perform other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Develop an agency organizational structure to effectively meet current needs. Develop and maintain a program for high performance standards and sound employee relations at all levels of the agency. Provide guidance and direction to staff to assist them in their professional development. Ensure that staff are provided with adequate and required training to effectively perform their duties and remain compliant with all laws and regulations. Perform other related duties as required Qualifications: Masters Level education with related Licensure as required in field. Clinical or Social Services related field preferred. Or Bachelor's Degree in Clinical or Social Services with 10 years experience in similar field. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior program director or higher.
