We are a growing outpatient clinic, we went from 2500 sq ft to 5000 sq ft in just 2 years, providing speech and language, occupational, physical therapy and early childhood services as well as behavioral services to a pediatric patient population up to about 21 years of age.With a staff of 45 we deliver a wide range of services to our children and we are always creating new programs.We are looking for a Physical Therapist who is passionate about his or her profession, with strong leadership skills and be willing to be a mentor for our PTA's as well as be a team player.You will assume the role of Manager for the Physical Therapy department where you will start with a 50/50 schedule between in clinic delivery and at home delivery. After a short while you will decide the schedule in coordination with the PTA's working for you.Mileage will be reimbursed at standard rates.You must be flexible with scheduling and be able to meet the needs of each child and family. You must also possess strong interpersonal skills and have at least 12 months experience with children 0-21. Internships count and bilingual is a strong plus. Personal qualities we are looking for would be: Confidence in your skills, be non-judgmental, and possess excellent listening skills and above all have respect for your coworkers. Above all else you should be trustworthy. If you also have training in sensory integration that would be helpful.We also engage with many community events such as helping the human trafficking task force by offering education to physicians and other therapy companies, as well as working with groups that offer assistance to families in crisis. We also join in local events sponsored by Autism Speaks and the Downs Syndrome Association.
