ASR International Corp, http://www.asrintl.com, has an immediate opening for an experienced Financial Professional to support activities for our proposal team. This position is located on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Hauppauge, NY. This position offers flexible hours, and can be a part time or full time opportunity. Retiree's from Government Agencies (DCAA, DCMA) are encouraged to apply. The Financial Professional will be supporting and at times leading development of detailed cost and pricing models for ASR’s response to Department of Defense and other federal agencies requests for bids and proposals. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost and pricing analysis and winning price proposals with needed summaries that comply to U.S. Government Request for Proposal (RFP) for all types of contracts: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Cost plus Fixed Fee (CPFF). Support and actively participate in developing cost estimating models and winning pricing strategies for presentation to Management, including complex projects based on RFP analysis, competitive price-to-win analysis, and analysis of historical cost performance. Assure complete, accurate and comprehensive pricing is developed which satisfies proposal requirements. Compile and analyze historical cost and pricing data to develop compliant cost narrative volume, including mandatory narrative elements, in response to formal solicitations. Support Proposal compliance review process. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or related field or 5+ years of federal contracting and pricing experience. Experience preparing detailed pricing quotes for proposals. Knowledge of Government/ DoD contracting and current acquisition trends. Ability to concurrently work on multiple projects and initiatives. Be proficient in MS Excel and experienced in using the Microsoft ® 365 software to author documents and conduct financial analysis. Analytical, verbal and written communication skills to successfully interact within all corporate levels skills. Preferred Qualifications: MBA, or other relevant Master’s level degree (Accounting Financial Analysis,) Relevant Federal Acquisition work experience, DCAA, DCMA, and technical writing and pricing analysis experience. Firm understanding of Government contracting, DoD acquisitions and the FAR for the professional services industry. GSA / DoD pricing experience.
