Job Overview: Oliver Wyman is seeking an analyst to join its Americas Business Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) team with a focus on supporting their consulting businesses, while also creating compelling cross-functional analysis with regards to revenue, costs, and profitability. This role will support the production of management information, analyzing business performance, and coordinating with the other FP&A Analysts to model performance forecasts that align with each team's strategic priorities. ***This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week in our NYC office *** Key Responsibilities: Responsible for creating, analyzing, and distributing periodic reports for the FP&A managers, team leaders, and other key stakeholders Rigorously analyze business metrics to uncover meaningful insights that impact business decision making Mitigate risks by ensuring data quality and accuracy of reports are tightly managed Support the production of ad hoc financial analysis and models to support strategic goals Work with multiple stakeholders and the FP&A team to help shape annual budget plans and forecasts around revenue, cost, and resource planning. Experience Required: BA or BS degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics preferred Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a consulting, financial, or highly analytical role Skills and Attributes: Superior analytical skills, attention to detail, and well organized Strong initiative/seek and accept new challenges, have a high level of intellectual curiosity as it relates to new projects, and finding solutions to problems Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced, deadline-driven, and quickly changing work environment Self-starter who can motivate themselves in a hybrid work structure Thrives in a team environment, including willingness to assist other team members and share knowledge Is coachable and possesses a strong desire to learn and grow Sharp communication skills with an ability to interact with, work with and advise multiple constituencies at all levels of the organization Technical Skills: Previous experience using data visualization software Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Must be comfortable working with and manipulating large amounts of data in excel using advanced formulas. Ability to learn Macros preferable. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements .
