Aquent Studios x Adobe is a custom-built creative agency partnership that provides scalability with world-class talent to Adobe's in-house studio and web team. This collaboration creates exciting opportunities to work with Aquent Studios and impact millions of customers, showcasing Adobe's products via innovative storytelling and unique visual experiences. We're looking for an experienced Associate Creative Director/Writer on the Aquent Studios x Adobe team who will support always-on and seasonal campaign creative with a focus on Acrobat and Document Cloud. This role will focus on concepting and campaign creation, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, to execute against strategy. What you'll do: Direct copy creation for brand development, advertising, and other media. Review, critique, and guide the work of other copywriters, and coordinate with agencies to oversee development of content. Demonstrate strategic thinking around a segment or discipline (design/video/SEO/etc.). Consistently demonstrate expertise at both the copy and product level. Seek out ways to develop, create, and promote new initiatives. Collaborate on and incorporate high-level, cross-domain copy standards and campaigns. Maintain close collaboration with senior-level teammates on process and creative outcomes. Work closely with designers to best communicate the product and brand and ensure that copy aligns with targeted audiences. Maintain awareness of product innovation, marketing and Studio goals, industry trends, and competitive players. Play a central role within the team as a driver for content strategy, copy development, and general excellence. Present rationale behind copy executions in a clear, professional, and confident manner. Collaborate with partners within the Studio, Marketing Program Managers (MPgM), Lifecycle Marketing (LCM aka Email Marketing), Performance Media, Brand, and Social teams to develop the overall creative strategy.Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to inform new projects.Demonstrate expert working knowledge and a complete understanding of the product or segment (in this case Acrobat).Oversee the work of Writers, Senior Art Directors, and Designers as needed and external agencies to execute against strategy, and review and provide guidance and clarity to teams and agencies.Must be comfortable giving feedback on design, animation, and video when it comes to overall creative strategy.Coordinate multiple projects to completion on deadline.Work across a wide range of platforms and technologies.Advance copywriting process and agenda; drive the writing process, goals, and vision across groups. What you need to succeed: 8+ years of copywriting experience as part of an agency or in-house team with proven ACD experienceSignificant experience within a segment or discipline (design/video/SEO/etc.) Problem-solving skills to propose effective solutions Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas to internal stakeholders and explain the rationale behind decisionsAbility to work effectively in a fast-moving (sometimes ambiguous) environment Familiarity with the principles of design that inform copywriting A positive, results-oriented outlook Compensation Range: $135 - 160K The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
