As a new Behavior Specialist on our New Vista program you can expect to work closely with adolescents of all ages to assess their behavior and develop treatment plans. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting behavioral assessments, implementing interventions, and monitoring progress. With a flexible schedule that may require working variable shifts from 6:00AM-6:00PM Monday-Friday, you'll have the opportunity to provide support to clients at different times to accommodate their needs. What matters most To excel as a Behavior Specialist, strong communication skills are essential. You should be able to effectively interact with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Additionally, problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to assess behavior and develop effective intervention plans are crucial. Familiarity with behavioral assessment tools and techniques is a plus, as is the ability to implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or other similar software may be required to document client progress and maintain accurate records. Being detail-oriented, empathetic, and adaptable in a fast-paced healthcare environment will contribute to your success in this rewarding role.High School Diploma or GED is requiredSpanish Speaking may increase the wage offered.
