Do you have strong SQL skills and possess strong Excel skills (VBA/Macros, V-Lookup, & Pivot Tables)? Are you comfortable presenting internally and externally? This hybrid role located in Morris Plains, NJ provides great exposure throughout the organization and will interact with Underwriting, Business Analysts, IT, and Actuarial departments. Come join an organization that is a leader in its industry!Further duties & responsibilities are listed below: Review trends/projections/results and update/improve rating tools Rating analysis of digital Underwriting product lines including development of reports in collaboration with the underwriting team Run regular meetings with underwriters to present results and projections Develop assessments of the markets rate adequacy for select segments of the business Assist with the development and maintenance of the underwriting regulatory rate book Develop responses to regulatory rate filing questions for justification and support Assist Actuarial and Finance during the business planning process Will consider exam support Job Requirements: Four-year college degree with a concentration in either Mathematics, Finance, Statistics or Accounting P&C or specialty insurance company experience preferred Demonstrated aptitude in Mathematics and Computer Science Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel which includes Macros, SQL, Pivot Tables, V-Lookup and writing database queries Strong administrative and organizational skills Strong presentations skills May require travel domestically or internationally
