Pre-Hire Job Summary: Looking for something fun, different and challenging? Modern Expo & Events is looking to expand our workforce! We are looking for a hardworking individual with a positive, can-do attitude. The following position is currently available: Entry-Level Project Manager in Expo and Events. This is an entry level position with a great opportunity for growth in an exciting field and company. The perfect fit will be a dynamic, creative and experienced event professional that is able to support various projects relating to producing a variety of events . Types of events could include: expositions, trade shows, corporate events, parties & galas, and meetings. The successful applicant will have relevant industry experience, post-secondary education, excellent organizational and communication skills and a demonstrated level of creativity. Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: Handle customer inquiries and complaints Provide information about the products and services Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns Document and update customer records based on interactions Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services Provide administrative support to Project leaders as needed Product fulfilment sourcing & various project research Support with Run of show tasks Maintain exhibitor revenue & relationships Maintain a respectful and growth-based work/office environment Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields Ability to build rapport with clients Ability to prioritize and multitask Positive and professional demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills Passionate about quality of work Quick learner Strong desire to build a career in the event industry Outstanding time management and communication skills. Solution oriented Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar. Willingness to submit professional references from previous clients.
