Senior Proposal Pricing Analyst

Description:
We are searching for an experienced pricing analyst with experience working on proposals related to the aerospace, government and/or related fields. The role of the pricing analyst will be to establish market prices that will allow the company to be profitable while staying competitive. The pricing analyst will work closely with the Business Development team to ensure that the pricing for proposals established will be effective. The analyst will also evaluate product quality, competitor pricing and customer reviews to create appropriate market prices for products and services. Responsibilities Be responsible for the development, analysis and completion of proposals Work with other functions from across the company to understand and evaluate the labor, material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts and the associated program Lead the development of Basis of Estimates to include tracking progress, validating and analyzing actuals, ensuring consistency across the program, and confirming the estimating approach is sound Assess, develop and implement solutions leading to a thorough proposal submittal Interface and coordinate with all levels of management within the program Perform detailed and complex analysis of inputs to ensure soundness in our estimates Serve as a back up to the Program Financial Analyst Requirements A bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant business experience listed below or 5 to 10 years of experience in lieu of the degree Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel Strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines in a schedule driven environment Job Posted by ApplicantPro
