We’re searching for a personable dental hygienist to join our talented team of healthcare providers! At our pediatric dental specialty office, you’ll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough, dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. Applicants should be knowledgeable about dentistry best practices, possess incredible interpersonal skills, and love working with people. If this sounds like you, apply now! Benefits: • Vacation/PTO• 401K• Health insurance benefits are available!• Mon-Thurs 8-5, Lunch 1-2 Responsibilities: • Perform preliminary dental examinations to get an overview of the patient’s oral health history for the dentist• Give guidance to patients about how to have good dental care at home after undergoing an operation or procedure• Prevent tooth decay by providing a thorough dental cleaning and applying protective sealants, such as fluoride• Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified• Record any changes to the patient’s health history and document the ongoings of each appointment Qualifications: • Must have at least an associate’s degree in dental hygiene; bachelor’s degree preferred• In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations• Certified to perform CPR• Licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in the state• Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time Compensation: $45 - $50 Hourly About Company: We are a small privately owned and operated one-doctor pediatric dental practice in Round Rock, Texas.
