The firm is looking for a candidate with 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background from nationally recognized schools, superior writing, research, and analytical skills, and the ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket. Duties:Handle class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation mattersEffectively communicate with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties, both verbally and in writingProduce high-quality deliverables and respond to correspondence promptlyMeet deadlines and perform work duties as requiredFoster positive work relationships within the firmComply with all firm policies and practicesEngage in both physical and sedentary activities as neededPerform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned Requirements:3-5 years of litigation experienceStrong academic background from nationally recognized schoolsPrevious federal clerkship is a plusExperience with class action defense preferredSuperior writing skills Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of New York Skills:Superior writing, research, and analytical skillsAbility to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docketStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracy This Amlaw firm is best known for allowing its associates to find a balanced work load that best suites them.
