Our team is responsible of the main compute platform on which all Fabric products are running. Our service is highly scalable and highly available and we are one of the biggest Azure services in the world. We develop features directly for customers but also features for the Fabric products that run on our platform. The Core platform service is a stateful service build on Azure Service Fabric and ContainerD. We use many Azure technologies from Storage, Premium Files, Service Bus, Event Hub, Event Grid, Kusto to SQL Azure, Cosmos DB and Azure Redis.We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer II with experience working with all service aspects of high throughput and multi-tenant services, ability to monitor successfully and mitigate complex reliability and scale problems. Our ideal candidate will have middle tier or backend service experience.We do not just value differences or different perspectives. Qualifications: Required/Minimum Qualifications: 4+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years experience with highly scalable cloud services Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred/Additional Qualifications: 5+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration. 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python Site Reliability Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
