[OEPP]Location: Akron, OHThis is an afternoon shift position.Summary of Responsibilities: * Demonstrates a strong commitment to all aspects of safety. * Repair and maintenance work on heavy truck chassis and hydraulic aerial devices. * Some welding and minor body repair. * Operate trucks, recovery equipment, cranes, and hydraulic equipment safely. Summary of Qualifications: * ASE truck certification is strongly preferred. * Must have thorough working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of diesel engines and hydraulic aerial devices. * Knowledge to diagnose equipment problems encountered, make necessary repairs and adjustments. * Must be available for emergency call-in as needed. * Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License or the ability to acquire a Class A Driver's License within six months of hire. * Available for a second shift position.
