Practice Area: Personal Injury Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm in Topeka, KS is seeking an Associate Attorney to represent clients and ensure the delivery of top-notch legal services. The role primarily involves managing personal injury caseloads, interacting with insurance companies, and maintaining positive client relationships. Duties:Manage personal injury caseloads from pre-litigation claim processes to potential litigation.Interact and negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients.Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.Draft various legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, etc.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all legal documents prepared.Adhere to all legal standards and regulations. Requirements:Active Bar license in Missouri and Kansas.1+ years of experience pursuing or defending personal injury law claims, workers’ compensation, disability, or civil litigation.Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.Commitment to providing excellent, responsive, and compassionate client service.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and tech-savvy.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Active Bar license in Missouri and Kansas. Skills:Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal relations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new technologies.Legal drafting skills and attention to detail.
