The ideal candidate will have exceptional credentials and qualifications, particularly in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.Duties:Handle a variety of legal matters related to life sciences transactions and broader technology and intellectual property transactions.Work on mergers and acquisitions, providing legal support and expertise in the evaluation and negotiation of deals.Draft, review, and negotiate strategic commercial agreements, including collaboration, license, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements.Conduct legal research and analysis to support transactional activities.Provide legal advice on matters related to intellectual property, technology, and corporate transactions.Requirements:3-6 years of relevant legal experience in technology and intellectual property transactions.Proven experience in life sciences transactions, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and strategic commercial agreements.Outstanding credentials and qualifications related to the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the Texas Bar.Certifications:Certification in intellectual property law or related field (preferred).Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.In-depth knowledge of intellectual property laws and regulations.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
