Partnering with leading academic researchers through its Immunology Innovation Program (IIP), argenx aims to translate immunology breakthroughs into a world-class portfolio of novel antibody-based medicines. argenx is evaluating efgartigimod in multiple serious autoimmune diseases. argenx is also advancing several earlier stage experimental medicines within its therapeutic franchises. argenx has offices in Belgium, the United States, Canada, Japan, and Switzerland.The Associate Director, Medical Analytics will lead all aspects of analytics and proactive insights in support of VYVGART and VYVGART HYTRULO as part of the US Medical Affairs (USMA) organization. This role partners closely with the Director, Medical Education and Operations and Director of Medical Insights, the medical field team and key US Medical Affairs stakeholders as well as external cross-functional partners to plan and implement medical analytical projects that support ongoing commercialization strategy and new product launches. You will build close relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that USMA is aligned with the overall strategy as well as manage dependencies with other team's functions while identifying, building and managing strategic partnerships across the different teams. You will work closely within USMA to ensure business value and that user feedback is translated into new developments when necessary.This position will report to the Director, Medical Education and Operations on the USMA team.RESPONSIBILITIES* Proactively leverage various available data sources and data analytical tools to evaluate field, materials, congress and other medical engagements and propose data-driven solutions to enhance decision-making and identify opportunities.* Perform ongoing and ad-hoc medical analytics to identify novel field medical insights, HCP segmentation and future opportunities for resource deployment to support current and future indication and product launches. * Partner closely with medical insights community and cross-functional teams to ensure integrated insights and actionable recommendations can be delivered to medical and commercial leadership team to achieve business objectives* Create insights for the business via design and management of core KPI dashboards (with outcome and activity metrics) and advanced analytics products* Build an analytics function that identifies gaps and drives decision-making and actions to support the overall strategic priorities of USMA across both HQ and Medical Field.* Contribute to Field Medical Excellence Community by providing supportive data analysis and insights based on HCP interactions.* Contribute to an innovative culture that strives for out-of-the-box thinking and creative approaches on analytical solutions beyond traditional models in the area of data science artificial intelligence, machine learning methods, algorithms/model development, validation and tools to drive impactful business decisions* Collaborate with US Market Research, Competitive Intelligence and Commercial Analytics to support new product launch strategy and life cycle management plan in rare disease marketQUALIFICATIONS* BA or BS required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred* Minimum of 4 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or agency setting evaluating quantitative and qualitative data from medical field engagements * Understanding of advanced analytics techniques across life sciences and ability to translate these findings into actionable insights and communicate to cross-functional stakeholders* Familiarity with leading industry analytic tools, applications and vendors (e.g. Veeva CRM, Tableau, Monocl).* Strong communication and influencing skills with proven ability to develop and effectively present critical analytic insights, business implications, and action plans to cross-functional stakeholders and management at all levels * Experience with forming strategic and collaborative partnerships within a matrix organization* Ability to travel up to 15% of the time* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)* Ability to manage and organize multiple projects and work streams simultaneouslyAt argenx we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
