Description:Scott County Hospital, located in Scott City, KS, is seeking a Receptionist for our clinic facility. We are a family-orientated team who are committed to providing the level of care that truly makes a positive difference. We are looking for someone who is determined and dedicated to providing patients with the best treatment experience. We offer competitive wages and a great working environment. Clinic Receptionist Responsibilities: Know software and be able to use it efficiently. Operate switchboard telephone system. Schedule appointments. Collect appropriate demographics from the patient and set them up in the computer. Complete encounter forms. Assist patients with billing questions or transfer to the appropriate billing staff. Collect payment for services by following clinic policies and procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality. Education, Qualifications, Experience: High School diploma or GED. Previous healthcare experience preferred.
