Job Description The selected candidate will perform a variety of duties in support of various customers, including:1. Pulling, staging and loading of material and equipment for delivery2. Comparing paperwork against material and equipment being shipped3. Packing and shipping of material and equipment4. Processing of shipping documentation and shipping/carrier paperwork.5. Selecting the correct material handling equipment to perform tasking6. Coordinating with peers and government project engineers on pick up and delivery material and equipment at off-site locations, to include, but limited to Bath, ME; Pascagoula, MS; Charleston, SC; Norfolk, VA; Marlton, NJ; and Mayport, FL7. Managing equipment in Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) system to support ships with CASREP requirements.8. Communicating/coordinating with all levels of staff, including; Engineering, Production, Testing, Administrative, and Project Management, as well as outside entities, such as government agencies, commands, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), etc.This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School diploma and at least one year of related experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrior warehouse experienceAbility to pass a background check to gain access to all government sites/locations and databasesPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Prior inventory management system experienceAbility to operate a forkliftCurrent CDLPay InformationThis position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA).
