Company Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis The Supervisory Learning Consultant will use examiner knowledge to lead discussions with System partners to help identify learning, communication, and change solutions that solve strategic problems and help prepare our Supervisory workforce. This includes primary oversight responsibilities for a portfolio of existing learning assets, and consultation on new training requests and communications to System supervision staff. This role is well suited to an emerging leader who has the strategic vision to make meaningful business connections, build relationships, and pair innovative thought with business knowledge and our instructional design expertise to meet the learning needs of our supervision staff today and into the future. The Supervisory Learning Consultant will be part of national Supervision Learning, which is comprised of staff from all 12 Reserve Banks and the Board of Governors, operate virtually and meet periodically in person. Our custom learning solutions use creative technology and range from quick-to-market deliverables to comprehensive training curricula. Our team works in a collaborative environment and we value creativity and new ideas. We have an experienced and diverse team that includes instructional designers, subject matter experts, and project managers. You will report to the Cross Portfolio Director and work within the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; remote work options may be available for candidates meeting certain criteria. Responsibilities * Participate on a virtual team of strategic leaders, supervisory staff, project managers, and instructional designers to support learning solutions that address identified national continuing professional development (CPD) needs. * Influence and support the Supervision Learning strategy, including responsibility for high priority projects related to supporting System supervisory communication needs. * Use supervisory experience and relationships to gather insights on System learning needs, identifying the priority and recognizing the optimal solution to communicate content to supervisory staff using a varied and evolving suite of delivery mechanisms. * Consult with business line and Board subject matter experts in the development of training when there is a business need, audience scale, and need for a consistent approach for training. * Stay informed of changes to regulations, guidance, and supervisory expectations and help maintain learning content within the Cross Portfolio catalog to ensure these assets remain relevant and accurate, including identifying content that is no longer applicable to staff. * Communicate with leaders at the highest levels of the organization, including periodically preparing presentations for the System’s Staff Development Subcommittee and other Business Line Management groups, as warranted. * Additional responsibilities, this description is not an exhaustive list of the responsibilities of this position. Qualifications * Master's degree or commensurate experience * 5+ years relevant work experience * Safety and Soundness or Consumer Compliance examiner commission, or commensurate supervisory experience. * Examiner knowledge, ideally with experience working in multiple supervisory portfolios. * Prepare clear and concise communications, matching the depth and complexity of content with needs and experience level of the targeted audiences. * Comfort dealing with ambiguity and delivering difficult messages. * Experience building relationship networks. * Ability to travel approximately 5%.
