Lead Bartender

Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. Responsibilities: • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties• Order necessary bar supplies, stock and keep track of all wine, liquor, and beer inventories as well as maintain a full supply of glassware and notify management of any shortages• Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system• Mix and deliver drinks to customers including alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks• Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations Qualifications: • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)• Outstanding time management and organizational skills• Previous experience working in food service is preferred• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members Compensation: $4 - $9 an hour plus tips About Company: Flexible schedule part time and full time
