Location: Manasquan, NJ Position Description: This position is responsible for supporting and assisting with the on-site installation and removal of medical imaging systems, which includes packing, lifting and pushing the systems in and out of the warehouse and on-site securely. Roles & Responsibilities: Assist the team leader with the on-site installation and removal of medical imaging systems. This includes placing the system on dollies, and pushing the system in and out of the building and on to a truck packed securely. Unloading and loading trucks, for warehouse pick-ups and deliveries Observe and assist with trailer refurbishment and trailer upgrades Support and assist with staging of MR/CT machines in the warehouse at NIS Performs warehouse functions, provided by the manager, including but not limited to, disinfecting, cleaning, crating, packing, etc. Responsible for moving anything within the warehouse with the use of forklifts or pallet jacks. Must be able to push/pull/lift heavy equipment Maintain proper housekeeping standards Any other duties as assigned Requirements: Education Required High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Some college preferred Experience 3-5 years or more of warehouse experience preferred Mechanically inclined preferred Able to operate a forklift or to be certified to operate a forklift within 8 weeks of hire Travel Valid driver's license and solid driving record for a minimum of five years REQUIRED Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance Opportunity to travel up to 75% of the time with overnight travel including overtime and some weekends Willing and able to undertake after-hours travel to carrier offices, drop-boxes, and airports Competencies Organizational and time management skills Team player: willing to go above and beyond to help others Positive and professional attitude Regular, reliable and predictable attendance Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly throughout the day Able to lift up to 100 pounds on occasion Able to stoop, sit, stand, bend, crouch and climb Able to operate a forklift or to be certified to operate a forklift within 8 weeks of hire Able to work in a regulated medical environment and warehouse conditions
