Summary Northshire Day School is looking for Summer Substitute Educator for June-August to work with two- and three-year-olds. The hours are 9:30am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Potential for longer term employment. Duties Candidates must be enthusiastic and have a passion for working with and educating young children, the ability to create a safe and nurturing environment, proficient written and verbal communication, knowledge about the STARS program, TS Gold, early childhood licensing regulations, and planning and implementing a play-based curriculum. Must be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements Candidates must have a high school diploma and completed Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals or are willing to in the first six months of employment. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or 21 related credits) and experience working with 0-5 year olds. NDS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
