Senior ME Prototype Engineer Position Overview: Logitech seeks an enthusiastic Senior ME Prototype Engineer to support our engineering, product development, reliability, and R&D teams. The Senior ME Prototype Engineer will develop mechanical 3D models and prototypes to be used for cosmetic and engineering validation. Experience with CAD, 3D printing, woodworking, cosmetic finishing and programming/operation of a CNC mill & CNC Lathe will be required for this position.The materials used in the shop include, but are not limited to wood, metal, plastic, foam, RTV resins, paints, adhesives, and 3D printing materials.Additional duties will include coordinating safety training for new lab users, enforcing safety and housekeeping standards, and maintaining materials inventory. Suitable candidates will exemplify a positive, can-do attitude while managing competing priorities and be adept at providing clear and concise communications with project stakeholders across the organization. In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
