We operate full-day early learning and childcare centres for infant, toddler and preschool children, as well as extended-day programs before and after school for kindergarten and school age children in 27 locations throughout the Greater Hamilton Area. We pride ourselves on being a leading childcare organization, committed to high quality programs that are inclusive, accessible, and promote learning and growth. Who are we Looking For? We are looking for a Child Care Centre Relief to compliment our team! This is a unique position for Umbrella Family! The successful candidate will be used as relief, to cover staffing needs at any of our Umbrella Family locations. This role does not have a static schedule but provides a variety of shift and location coverage. This position will be scheduled approximately 28.5 to 37.5 hours a week. Why work for Us? (including $5.10 wage grant) What are we Looking For? To be considered for this role, the right candidate will have the following qualifications: Experience: Minimum 1-year experience working directly with children OR Related experience in a childcare setting, working with school age children Education: Diploma in Early Childhood Education We may consider those with the following Diploma: Child & Youth Worker, OCT – Teacher, Education Assistant, Social Worker, Recreation & Leisure Certifications Member in good standing with College of ECE’s Standard First Aid with CPR level C Satisfactory Vulnerable.
