Are you a experienced Structural Engineer with strong Program Management skills looking to grow your career with an amazing company in Ohio? Our client is seeking a talented Structural Engineer with 6-10 years experience to join their expanding design team and reside in either the Cincinnati, Columbus or Dayton, OH area to support current and future projects locally. You will participate in the engineering of various building structures incorporating the design of steel, concrete, timber and masonry. Daily tasks include structural modeling and analysis, connection detailing, project management, and construction administration. This Position requires some travel to local Clients! RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare contract drawings and specifications * Perform structural calculations, modeling and analysis * Estimate construction costs * Review drawings and erection procedures * Maintain project records * Manage other project management related tasks QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in structural, civil, or architectural engineering (focus on structural engineering); Master's degree with an emphasis in structural engineering is a plus. * 6-10 years of experience in building related structural design and project management * REVIT and AutoCAD proficiency * Working knowledge of the IBC Codes * Must be willing to travel occasionally to Corporate office in northern Indiana * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Good organizational skills with attention to detail * Ability to work independently and as part of a project team and exercise independent initiative This is a direct hire opportunity with great pay and benefits!
