SENIOR HADOOP/PYTHON DEVELOPER – REMOTE ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a Hadoop Developer with experience with Python development! This position is 100% remote. This is starting out as a contract position running through January 2025 with strong potential to extend or possibly convert to FTE. Third party candidates are not eligible for this role. Purpose: Enterprise initiative for project work with a bot development project that combines Python & Hadoop development work. (Candidates must be comfortable with both) This client is embarking on an exciting enterprise initiative, the Smartbot project, which combines Python and Hadoop development work. The project aims to develop a smart bot or chatbot that leverages Python for its backend logic and Hadoop for data processing and storage. This intelligent chatbot will enhance customer interactions, improve service delivery, and provide valuable insights from the data collected. Responsibilities: Develop and implement Python-based solutions for natural language processing (NLP) algorithms to enable the smart bot to understand and respond to user queries. Utilize Hadoop for storing and processing large volumes of data, including user interactions, customer information, and other relevant data sources. Develop machine learning (ML) models using Python libraries such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and PyTorch to improve the smart bot's ability to understand user intent and provide accurate responses. Integrate the smart bot with existing systems and databases within the organization using Python scripts to facilitate seamless access and retrieval of relevant information. Ensure scalability and performance of the smart bot by leveraging Hadoop's distributed architecture to handle large volumes of data and user interactions efficiently. Specific Tools/Languages Required: HADOOPSpark Required Education/Work Experience: Related Bachelor’s degree or related work experience 5+ years of professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry Strong Knowledge in Python & Natural Language Processing (NLP) required Development experience using HADOOP & Spark required Strong experience using Mongo and Postgres DB required Would you like to know more about our new opportunity?
