What You'll Do Abstract all new cancer diagnoses and/or other reportable neoplasms within the cancer registry database according to established criteria from Michigan Cancer Surveillance Program (MCSP) and the American College of Surgeons - Commission on Cancer (ACoS-CoC). You will be known as a data information specialist that will capture complete history, diagnosis, treatment, and health status for every cancer patient treated at the Rogel Cancer Center. As a member of the Cancer Registry Team, you will be a primary source to support research, understanding cancer incidence, mortality and treatment outcomes. Background Screening Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
