As a Summer Camp Teacher, you will: Work with site staff in our summer program in our partner schools within the Lynwood Unified School District Lead STEAM lessons for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum Teach students in grades TK - 5th Classes run Monday to Friday from 11:45am - 5:30pm, with the exception of 7:30am - 5:00pm during a week in late July About you This role is great for early-career educators who have availability during the summer. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications: Available to start training immediately (paid) Availability to start working by June 2024 (employment to continue through Fall 2024 and beyond based on performance) Available Monday - Friday from approximately 11:45am - 5:30pm (approx. 20-25 working hours/week), with the exception of 7:30am - 5:00pm during a week in late July Exceptional communication and organizational skills Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license Willing to go through our professional development training program Compensation The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hour depending on experience, plus commuter benefits, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
