If your answer is yes then we would like you to consider a career in children's residential services. How many hats can you wear in one day? We are looking for people to join our residential team within Walsall where we currently operate two Children's Homes and are in the process of opening 2 additional homes in the near future. Our work is varied where no two days are the same, for example today involves: Helping cook the dinner Helping with homework Playing games in the garden Supporting complex health needs But tomorrow may bring; Attending a professionals meeting Managing challenging behaviour Planning an outing or a holiday About the Role: You will be responsible for the direct care of children, provide high levels of engagement and be highly ambitious in helping them to achieve positive outcomes. We provide residential care for looked after children and overnight short breaks for children who have disabilities and complex needs. Our focus is directed towards a child centred approach where we actively promote children's rights. We deliver our services in safe personalised small groups where the care is aimed at supporting children's welfare. About you: Candidates will hold a level three/four qualification in children's residential care or equivalent.
