Automation Engineer - Maintenance support We're recruiting for an Automation Engineer to act as the engineering teams go-to expert with controls/communication and networking. You will join a dynamic production company offering rewarding careers, based in the Northamptonshire area. Duties: As a key specialist within the Engineering team you will perform a vital role in developing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems and processes. Working with varied Controls systems, HMI/SCADA, Networking and Communication systems you will design, develop, integrate trouble-shoot and improve whilst collaborating closely with the electro-mechanical engineering team Candidate Essentials: The ideal Automation Engineer will have completed an apprenticeship / possess level 3 / HND / Degree qualifications in Electrical / controls based engineering You must have proven experience gained with hands-on support of PLC controlled machinery, preferably from highly automated factory environments Food, Packaging, Automotive etc but open to any relevant systems exposure. Sponsorship opportunities for candidates with current UK Visa’s Shift: DAYS Mon-Fri with some potential for support to the shift team Salary: £50,000 - £54,000This position will suit candidates with the previous titles of: Automation Engineer, Controls Engineer, PLC Engineer.
