Product Support Engineer£45k Thatcham Are you ready to play a crucial role in supporting the ongoing development of cutting-edge transmissions used in world-class racing cars and high-performance road vehicles We're seeking skilled Engineers to become part of our dynamic Product Support Group. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of investigating and resolving issues that arise during manufacture, build, test, and operation of our products. If you thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and have a passion for hands-on problem-solving, this opportunity is for you. Key Responsibilities: Investigate and resolve issues during production, testing, and operation Conduct root cause analysis and implement quality improvements Assist in troubleshooting and testing at End of Line Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners Provide technical expertise to both internal and external customers Create engineering drawings and models using NX 3D CADEnsure solutions are documented and aligned with company procedures Qualifications and Experience: Minimum Level 5 higher education qualification in mechanical engineering Previous experience in a similar role or as a Design/Manufacturing Engineer Understanding of transmission system functionality Hands-on experience with assembly, disassembly, and examination of mechanical components Strong problem-solving skills with RCA experience preferred Familiarity with drafting standards, geometric tolerances, and manufacturing methodinteractioncellent communication skills across all levels Ability to translate technical language for various audiences Structured, organized, and effective at prioritisation Proficiency.
