Electrical Electronic Engineer Portsmouth, UKUp to £45k We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineer to join our Engineering team in Portsmouth. As an Electrical/Electronic Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and modifying electrical/electronic control systems and ancillary equipment for process plants. Your expertise will also contribute to providing essential electrical support for manufacturing, testing, and in-service maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Select appropriate electrical/electronic hardware in alignment with customer requirements, including Mo D, by collaborating with suppliers. Engage in engineering design and generate documentation for both hardware and software control systems, ensuring compliance with specifications. Develop automation and control software that adheres to requirements for installation on process plants. Oversee Design Office activities during design production, including verification checks. Maintain adherence to Company's Departmental Procedures. Collaborate with production/sub-contractors during the manufacture and testing of control systems, including supervising technicians building prototype units. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control and test systems, accompanied by comprehensive documentation. Participate in visits to clients' offices or sub-contractor/suppliers' works when needed. Evaluate and implement modern technology to enhance efficiency, operation, and accessibility of information. General Activities: Fulfill any additional duties required to support business needs. Occasionally work and visit various sites, possibly involving short periods away from home. Maintain continuous professional development to keep knowledge up-to-date.
