The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time split between writing C code to implement suitable algorithms and new features, and creating test environments to simplify and automate the process of evaluating the performance of the algorithms, for the whole chip level solution. They are a technology focused business who design and manufacture complex electronic products, so, a background in electronic OEM’s would be preferred. For this Firmware Engineer job, you will be responsible for: - Embedded software development for a broad range of sensor products using Embedded C- Developing prototypes, proof of concepts or product features- Report directly to the Engineering Director The ideal candidate for this Firmware Engineer job will have the following: - Experience Embedded C development- Experience with a range of microprocessors- Experience developing real-time high-performance software- Experience of unit testing and writing well-structured code Our client in Hampshire offer career progression, generous benefits and some hybrid working options.
