This position requires flexibility to attend to maintenance tasks outside regular hours. Position Description: Mount Carmel Clinic is a non-profit community health centre located in the North End of Winnipeg. MCC provides a wide range of integrated primary health, community and early learning services to inner city residents, Indigenous persons, newcomers and others who require our unique approach. Under the direction and supervision of the Facility Manager, the Maintenance Worker provides a range of general maintenance services in and around all Mount Carmel Clinic sites. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for working as part of a team that is ensuring that the buildings and grounds are maintained in a condition that is safe and healthy for MCC staff, participants and members of the public. Qualifications: Education & Licensing Grade 12 or equivalent Valid Class 5 driver’s license, with a satisfactory driver’s abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle is a requirement Skills, Expertise and Experience Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude Two (2) years of on-the-job maintenance experience Proven knowledge of painting, plumbing and electrical.
