We are looking for a Junior Pastry Chef to join this adventure and experience the excitement… This highly exclusive restaurant born in Monte Carlo in 2005 is the epitome of creativity and luxury service, by taking on international and local dishes with a focus on quality ingredients. Riccardo Giraudi (the Beefboy as some might call him) has created Beefbar to break tradition and introduce a modern take on incredibly well-thought out but simple dishes divided into 3 section – interactiony street food, great meat cuts and iconic dishes. Inter Continental Edinburgh The George is home to the first and only Beefbar in Scotland and we are proud to be presenting Edinburgh with this leading new concept… We are looking for a Junior Pastry Chef who can work 4 shifts per week (40 hours contract). In addition to your hourly rate, you will be paid for any overtime and service charge will be paid on a monthly basis through our Tronc scheme. Our Junior Pastry Chef will form a central role to the kitchen operations, you will be supporting our Kitchen team to provide excellent experiences to our guests through delicious culinary experiences, beautiful presentation and timely service. As a Junior Pastry Chef at the iconic Le Petit Beefbar, you will receive: Up to £13.30 per hour, plus paid overtime and monthly service charge! 28 days holiday each year, including bank holidays, this increases up to a maximum of 33 days (pro rata) Extensive training and development opportunities, you will join part of an experienced team with opportunity to branch out into new roles or learn new skills (with world-wide opportunities for transfer) As part of the IHG Hotels and Resorts family, you will receive discounted Hotel and Resort stays around the world, ‘the world is your oyster’ so to say!
