Product Engineer Automotive Interior Trim, West Midlands, Negotiable Hourly Rate Outside IR35In partnership with a global Automotive Engineering supplier, Blackfield Associates are seeking a Product Engineer on an outside IR35 contract basis Working within a busy manufacturing environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for latter developm Product Engineer Automotive Interior Trim, West Midlands, Negotiable Hourly Rate Outside IR35In partnership with a global Automotive Engineering supplier, Blackfield Associates are seeking a Product Engineer on an outside IR35 contract basis Working within a busy manufacturing environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for latter development stage issue and design resolution to ensure complex interior systems adhere to company and customer specification at vehicle installation stage and are able to transition to production seamlessly. Other responsibilities include raising and managing design change requests, contributing proactively to DFA Design for Assembly & DFM Design for Manufacture, and working closely with a multi-disciplinary team encompassing quality, design, product engineering, and tooling to ensure each element comes together harmoniously in support of robust, to spec, designs. In order to be considered for this position, candidates need to have proven experience of automotive interiors product engineering alongside an ability to liaise and relationship build with customers and stakeholders alike. This role is full time on site and requires flexibility to provide on site presence with the customer as and when required.
