Regional Chef Location: London Salary: A GBP 16.58 per hour Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 09:00:17:00 five days per week on a seven: day rota basis, with Sunday a fixed day This is an exciting opportunity to work within our clients nursing centre and retirement community. This role will involve working within a team at their nursing centre and lone working within their retirement community. The successful applicant would need to have a degree of flexibility within their working hours to allow to cater for events. Their sites are based within the W6 and SW16 areas and would involve travelling between the two sites. Duties and Responsibilities Support the Catering Department to manage and deliver all catering services in the home Prepare nutritious food and beverages to a high standard Prepare special dietary meals as needed Support cost: effective stock control to minimise waste Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy, emptying the waste bins and helping wash the crockery and cutlery Benefits Access to Perkbox leisure and retail discount scheme, an online platform which offers employees access to various benefits of particular services at reduced costs for e. g. store discount vouchers, cinema vouchers, restaurant vouchers, car/phone insurance discounts Annual travel allowance, to accommodate working at both sites Enrolment onto the Life Insurance Death in Service Scheme on completion of your probation period Refer a Friend Scheme (A GBP 1,000 for nurses and A GBP 400 for any other position) on completion of successful probation of the new employee Employee of the Month Scheme (A GBP 100 Cash rewards).
