Job Title: Nurse PractitionerLocation: Carl N. Williams JR MD CHTDWe are a hand and plastic surgery office seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for specialty healthcare services to patients of all ages in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests- Diagnose and treat medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses of the hand as well as both acute and chronic, complex wounds of the body. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health management- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activitiesRequirements:- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada.- Master’s degree in Nursing- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferably in wound care or orthopedics- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment- Proficiency in electronic health record systemsWe offer competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
