Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is hiring a Transmission/Heavy Line Technician/Mechanic for immediate hire. Our Transmission Technician/Heavy Line Technician/Mechanic takes on the bigger jobs that come through the door, enabling our apprentice and lube technicians to do the maintenance work. The ideal candidate would have extensive automotive repair experience in a new dealership. Transmission/Heavy Line Technician/Mechanic Job Responsibilities Diagnose automotive problems as they arise. Conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts. Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process.
