General Description: The Cash Auditor will focus on completion and accuracy of daily sales and cash reconciliation for our Stanley Park Properties – Stanley Park Pavilion and Prospect Point. Through their analysis and follow up, they will ensure the integrity of financial information and identify opportunities for improved process controls. They will ensure compliance with company accounting policies and industry accounting standards. Unquestionable integrity, strong judgment skills and absolute discretion with confidential and sensitive information is a requirement for this role. Responsibilities: Daily cash audit and sales reconciliation Float preparation and cash handling Maintaining Sales register Ad hoc tasks as requested by management Q ualifications Possess or working towards a post-secondary education in Accounting. 2+ years experience with cash handling / closing in a restaurant or retail setting. A general understanding of the accounting process and full cycle accounting Advance proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word), Highly organized, Analytical, Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Strong verbal/written communication skills; ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization, Working Conditions Flexibility to workdays, nights and weekends, in order to meet the needs of the business. A vehicle is required for this role to travel between properties and occasional trips to head office in North Vancouver. Compensation: $21-$25 per hour. Powered by Jazz HR.
