Are you a Service Engineer in the Wigan area with experience working on air compressors, looking to join an up and coming company then this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities As a Compressed Air Service Engineer you will ensure effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment. Key Responsibilities As a Compressed Air Service Engineer you will ensure effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment. Aluminium & Steel pipework installations Undertake planned and preventative maintenance on compressors and a range of ancillary equipment and compressed air systems Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repair. Compressed Air Service Engineer will install, and commission compressors and compressed air systems Recommend additional works that may assist customers or enhance the company’s performance Maintain company vehicle, PPE, testing and other company equipment in accordance with guidelines Basic Qualifications Experience in the compressed air industry would be valued but isn’t essential Fork-lift, IPAF and trailer licenses are handy but not essential Good interpersonal and IT skills Desire to provide a high quality of workmanship & ‘can do’ attitude Current UK driving license Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Field based role, operating out of Wigan based office. Must be willing to travel throughout the region with occasional overnight stays as required as an Air Compressor Service Engineer Salary: £32,500 to £40,000 per year depending on experience Benefits: Good Pension Scheme25 days Paid Holiday in addition to Bank Holidays.
