About The Opportunity: As a member of the City's Helpdesk team, you will be responsible for assisting in the overall support of the City's Information Technology (IT) environment. You will resolve IT related problems and respond to requests from internal customers from all City divisions in a timely and efficient manner. Providing training and documentation when needed along with maintaining the security and integrity of the overall network and applications are key responsibilities in this fast-paced environment. About Your Background: This dynamic role is best suited for a customer-oriented self-starter with strong problem-solving skills. As a Computer Technician 1 (starting wage $31.60), you have completed a Computer Science degree or a two-year diploma in Computer Information Systems and have a minimum of one year of related experience. To qualify as a Computer Technician 2 (starting wage $33.71), you have one year of related experience with a Computer Science degree and a minimum of two years of related experience with a diploma. .
