The Role The Senior Manager, Cloud and Application Security Engineering, IS&C will provide leadership to a team of engineers supporting the Cloud and Application Security toolsets. In this role, you will lead a team of Cloud and Application Security engineers to execute and deliver on the team’s business and security strategies and objectives. You will also engage in cross department collaboration with a goal of arriving at strategic security engineering decisions, with a focus on technical operations and support as well as managing communication to executive management. In addition, you would have to ensure all activities conducted follow and comply with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Accountabilities Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Manage Products and Services Delivery for Security Engineering which includes intake & resolution, tracking of performance metrics, stakeholder management and measuring the effectiveness of services. Work closely with Director to facilitate cross-department strategic decisions and work with leaders in defining and building executive communication. Manage resource allocation, projects and ensure appropriate communication and stakeholder management is undertaken. Deliver projects to remediate IT Risk, Internal Audit and Regulatory (including OSFI) associated with Cloud Security Services. Build and maintain stakeholder buy-in and relationships across IS&C and partner business lines Scotia Digital, GTS and Data Office. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
