The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview The Mental Health Clinician will provide brief treatment services to Ukrainian children and their families who are referred to the Community Child & Adolescent Treatment Service (CCATS), an MATC service within Mental Health and Addictions, Shared Health. The clients may present with a variety of mental health concerns that may have impact on their emotional, behavioural, and mental health at home, community, and school environments. Treatment is embedded in a biopsychosocial and systemic framework that may involve crisis intervention and supportive measures to assist with adaptation to new environments. The Mental Health Clinician will participate as part of a Mental Health and Addictions outreach team to maximize access to treatment services. Experience 3-5 years’ experience working with children, youth, and families preferred. Experience and training in treatment models related to developmental trauma and/or attachment. Experience and training in one or more of the following: CBT or DBT are assets Experience and knowledge in Brief Treatment models including treatment with parents and children are required.
