What we have to offer: Competitive compensation Flexible schedule options Discounts on food Comprehensive paid training Opportunities for career advancement Free parking Company-wide employee events Playground Cares volunteer opportunities Responsibilities: Create our outlets’ dessert menu By following ESTABLISHED STANDARDS prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, etc. Decorate pastries using different icings and toppings to ensure a beautiful and exciting presentation Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget Train staff on how to serve, present and keep the ultimate quality of our dessert menu Check quality of material and condition of equipment used for cooking Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards Conduct the daily tour of all kitchens, to backss the quality and the quantities of each dessert item Uphold safety standards and implementation of training guides related to the safe operation of kitchen equipment Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in pastry production, chef in a gourmet restaurant, hotel or high volume pastry shop Great attention to detail and creativity.
