Job Title: Account Representative (AR) Department: MARC Reports to: Manager FLSA Status: Non- Exempt Position Summary: An Account Representative (AR) will act as a liaison, provide service information, answer questions, and transfer patients to a payment portal as needed. They will assist in resolving customer account concerns with accuracy and efficiency. AR's are patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They enjoy listening and talking and understand the value of good communication skills. The goal is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Assist in obtaining insurance information or patient documentation as needed.· Answer patient questions on dates of service, medical services rendered, insurance processing, insurance write offs, deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance and direct patient to a payment portal as necessary.· Assist in the professional resolution of outstanding concerns.· Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies. Essential Requirements for Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening skills Available to work all regular office hours when needed Spanish Bilingual is a plus Specialized Knowledge/Beneficial Skills and Experience · Customer service skills/willingness to help people· Pleasant, easy going, hard to offend· Enjoy talking to people Working Conditions/Physical Demands Normal office environment.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $16.00 per hour
