To learn more about our company, please visit our website at https://www.wc-health.com/ Objective: WC Health is seeking part-time and full-time Medical Assistants who have knowledge and experience in family practice and women's health to treat and work with employees and families in Las Vegas. Essential Functions: Assist patients to exam rooms Take patient histories, measure vital signs, including weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in the patient's chart. Perform MA procedures under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner Assist Nurse Practitioner in exam room with Pap Smears Give instructions to patients as instructed by Nurse Practitioner Ensure all related reports, labs and information are filed and available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls Manage a high volume of patient visits Patient Education Assist in in office procedures All other duties as assigned by the Clinical Manager. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Skilled in venipuncture and fingersticks Ability to work independently Strong Organizational skills Excellent Time management skills Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Education and Experience: Experienced Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience Experience in Family Practice or Women's Health EMR (electronic medical record) experience required Medical Assistant: 2 years (Preferred) Job Posted by ApplicantPro
