What You'll Do! Rampart has some ambitious goals. This role offers unique opportunities to broaden your experience and to use your talents to tackle challenges. Working here, you will contribute to the foundation of next generation wireless capabilities. Some of what a DSP Engineer will do at Rampart will be to... Generate receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves in Matlab Generate bit error rate plots in Matlab for a variety of channel conditions (AWGN, phase noise, multipath, doppler, etc) Design equalizers, filters, precoders, forward error correction, synchronization blocks, and other wireless communications algorithms Develop CI/CD unit tests or unit test frameworks that will be used by the hardware/FPGA team for verification Optimization of Matlab or C/C++ code using parallelization, multithreading, intrinsics, etc Are We a Match? We're hiring for a broad range of roles and skills within the organization. Submit a resume if your experience aligns with any of the following: Bachelor's Degree (Electrical or Computer Engineering) or relevant coursework Experience in digital signal processing (theory, simulation, or software implementation) Knowledgeable with Linear Algebra, Linear Systems and Transforms Experience with Matlab, Mathematica, C/C++, or python Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions Must be willing to work onsite at our Linthicum Heights Maryland office
